Happiness

“Human beings feel we’re not 100 per cent human, that we’re always letting ourselves down. We’re constantly striving towards something, to some fulfilment.”
~Stephen Fry~
I really love this quote because it’s so true (and it’s by Stephen Fry, but that’s besides the point right now.) People are constantly working towards their next goal. Working toward good grades, good SAT scores, getting into good colleges, getting a high paying job, and a big house with 2.5 kids and a white picket fence. This is what we are told we will need to be considered a “success” in life. But what if success is a whole lot simpler than that? What if “to succeed” simply means “to be happy?” To live the life tied together with a smile rather than a 401K. That is what it truly means to live and if I can accomplish this, than I will die a happy person.
